I’m looking for an honest to goodness no hype homebased/internet business with easy to sell products that does not take a lot of money or time to set up and viable low cost/free ways to get the word out to serious buyers and opportunity seekers.Can you help?

Well, I like Paid To Read and Paid to Click programs. When you start out it seems like you aren’t making hardly any money at all, but then you find people who are looking for opportunities that don’t require an investment, and sign up for as many sites as possible. You just click on ads, let them stay on the screen until a timer runs out (usually 20-60 seconds) and then close them. You click on so many ads per day and make that money- then you make part of whatever you referrals make, and some of what their referrals make too.
For instance
I click 10 ads per day on one site and get .05-.10
but my 10 referrals all do the same- so I make .50-$1.00 extra per day.
I do this on 20 sites and make $20 in about 20 total minutes of my time. More referrals=more cash

Some sites even let you buy active referrals instead of finding them.

Never join ptr or ptc programs that want you to pay for them.

I would join as many as possible. Eventually you won’t have to click, your referrals will make money for you.

I have a business opportunity that I need to promote and get people to join. Where would you and how would you suggest I promote this particular thing?
Its not an MLM, its no cost, etc…but its best to be 18+ so its hard to post on forums without getting a kid to message me.
Any suggestions…or if there are any gurus out there, any systems you use?

Make a list of sites that attract would-be entrepreneurs and those looking to make money from home. Search for keywords such as "home business" or "business opportunities" or "business ideas" — then make a list of those sites. My site for example attracts a lot of bizopp advertisers because my site attracts the type of customers they want

Then check with Adwords and other pay per click marketing. Be careful though as it can get expensive.

Check print publications such as Entrepreneur Magazine, as they always have bizopp ads because they reach the type of customers you want.

You can’t trust anyone on the internet……..that’s your real problem.

I have hundreds of friends and associates. None of the guys/girls have ever made any money on these on line ventures. If they would have they would be talking about it and I would be in on it…..SCAM

A friend of mine came to my home and offered me the opportunity to join a business. It sounds very much like a Multi-Level Marketing organization. It is supposedly tied to an Internet portal where people can buy products, but it sounds like the ‘business plan’ is the foocus.

‘The Team’ is an offshoot from Quixtar or Amway as it used to be known.

If you are happy with this then go ahead.

My advice, however, would be to do your own due diligence, not only on ‘The Team’ but on as many different companies as you can. Personally check out their Terms and Conditons, very boring, but you need to know how many ways they have of sacking you and of NOT paying you, and what you have to do to get paid and HOW MUCH you will get paid. If fact one question to ask is how many Distributors/Affiliates would you need to get $10,000 per month on a residual basis. It will vary from 400 to over 100,000!!

There is no doubt that there are some very successful people Making Money On The Internet but I have to add a note of caution because once you begin to check them out the choice and selection is overwhelming. The sad reality is that for all the thousands of online businesses only about 3% are making any money so you should be realistic,
Any one that says that they make thousands while they sleep is either a very well established online entrepreneur or sorry but a con artist who would only make more money if they could persuade you to part with some of yours..
There is no such thing as a get rich scheme or overnight success. Becoming a successful online entrepreneur takes time, money, patience and persistence. As in any other area of business people become successful by being focused, committed, working hard and learning from their mistakes.

Raven C i want phyical proof, not hype or phony testimonies! A smart businessman uses leverage OPM/good credit rating with access to extended credit 30/60/90 days etc. Workers do not get paid until the work is done, why would i want to hand out money to a unknown over the internet for some BS on a website or if your gulliable,no i need factual proof income flawlessly guaranteed and yes i have taken risk before with my own idea’s in business but not with schemer’s on the internet nor do i know anyone who admits to being rip-off or actually claiming income willing to prove it in person! A business broker will try and see how much money he can suck out of you, a savey business man uses other sources with some type of safety net!

Presuming you have a specific interest, other then just the "web", you can monetize (generate money with your interest) this the easiest on the Internet.

There are two major categories you can make money on the ‘net. You can sell a product or service, or you can sell space for advertisement.

Both requires "eyeballs" or individuals visiting your site.

Your product or service, can be anything. It could be a tangible asset (something you can hold like a pencil), intengible (such as a software, or article, or electronic book), or a service (such as translation, or proof-reading).

These products and services will require you to set up, in essence a store front.

You will need to advertise your site on other web sites, and various other methods to drive more and more people to see, or visit your web site. A certain percentage will buy your product.

The other side, is of course selling advertising space on your web site. Your commodity is traffic. The person from the previous example needs people visiting their site, and you have people visiting your site, but no products. So you put an advertisement of the first person’s site on your site – and they pay you a type of comission. Depending on the agreement, it could be making money when a visitor to your site sees the advertisement, clicks on the advertisement, or when the visitor following the advertisement purchases the product or service from the other web site.

As you can see, both sides of the ‘net business model depends on "traffic".
