Is there any work at home program that I could do it with my computer? Help!
Hi,
I am using this trusted site’s program and their online tools http://www.googleadvertise.com They have provided a great online program and softwares to use.
I had an accident and I’m stuck at home for at least another year. Need a challenging home business as I’m dying of boredom.
I saw a new site recently launched. It looks very promising as it is not one of those data entry or survey sites.
They feature some really workable method and definitely not one that will bring boredom like many other home business.
No Prior Experience or Technical Skills and Very Little Start-Up Capital Is Needed. They also provide a website.
My husband and I run our own online marketing business at home and are still getting started. All of our transactions are through paypal, but for tax purposes and record keeping, we need a bookkeeping program. Quicken is much cheaper than Quickbooks, but is Quickbooks really that much better?? Thanks in advance for any help with this!!
Deciding whether to use Quicken or QuickBooks is a matter of your accounting needs and abilities. Some accountants suggest clients use QuickBooks; however, not everyone is comfortable with accounting terminology or procedures. The following paragraphs highlight some of the differences in Quicken Deluxe compared to QuickBooks Pro (these versions offer the most features and flexibility).
First, consider your computer and accounting skills. If you can navigate through basic computer programs, know what a file is, can operate a mouse, know the X in the corner of a window closes it, and know how to write a check, then you can learn to use Quicken. QuickBooks is also user-friendly if you understand accounting terminology. However, with QuickBooks, it is important to get the set-up right from the beginning. Quicken is a little more flexible and can grow as you learn to use it.
Consider your accounting needs. What do you expect from the program? If you need to track simple income and expense records on a cash basis then Quicken is easier to set up, simpler to use, and less expensive. QuickBooks can be used for single-entry cash accounting, but it is intended to function as a double-entry system for business.
Some important Quicken features that are not available in QuickBooks:
1. The ability to record and track investments (including the capability to download investment information from the Internet). QuickBooks allows for no investment record-keeping.
2. The capability to create an amortized loan that records principal and interest components of loan payments. This feature makes tracking loan amounts and splitting payments into the correct categories more precise.
3. The ability to easily generate cash flow reports as well as budgets based on past transactions.
QuickBooks has the following features that Quicken does not:
1. The ability to create invoices and track payments received. (If you only need simple and infrequent invoicing features, then you may want to look at the Quicken Home and Business program.)
2. The ability to create accounts payable and track the payments as they are made. Payroll features are provided as a for-fee service, ranging from downloadable payroll table updates to complete payroll services. Other payroll features include the ability to track time for employees and link the time spent with specific projects.
3. Inventory features. However, this feature is of limited value to most farmers and ranchers as it is designed for a retail business. It can be helpful to producers selling certified seed, for instance.
4. The ability to accept credit card payments (with the use of QuickBooks Account Manager).
What Quicken and QuickBooks both offer:
1. The programs are affordable. Quicken Deluxe is about $60 with a $20 rebate for previous users; QuickBooks Pro can be purchased for about $220.
2. Both have class features which allow you to track income and expense information by enterprise for better financial analysis.
3. Both include a variety of reports for tracking income and expenses and tax information. However, the QuickBooks reports are more business oriented and tend to resemble standard accounting statements.

Hello, I am looking to work from home and was looking into home based data entry businesses online…like filling out surveys and such for companies. I was just wondering how legit these were and if it has worked for anybody else.
Most home jobs you will only make minimum wage. The time and effort is not worth it. There is a ceiling involved with it. Survey’s- don’t get your hopes on making enough money, they’re fun to do, but not enough income. Too many little things that you don’t know until you start doing them. (if you want more information on it, feel free to email me and I’ll explain to you in detail.
If you really want to work from home and make a sufficient amount of income I suggest you start your own home based business. The income opportunity is much higher. Most home based business cost under $500. Some cost more depending on what it is you want to do. I don’t know what you like to do, so I can only tell you what my husband and I started over six years ago and point you out to some others to take a look at. Ours well supports our family of six. We have four children ages 10, 6, 3 and 1.
We got involved in the telecommunications industry.
With a world wide company that’s over 15 years old. We’ve been featured in several magazines like USA Today, Success, Fortune etc. Inc 500 rated us the 22nd fastest growing company. They offer services that people use every day and pay for anyway, but now they can have a lower cost. Services such as local and long distance phones, Internet, digital phones, video phones (you can see the person your taking to live)VOIP, Satallite tv, and all the major cellular phone companies like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Alltell, Nextell etc. have partnered up with them too.
How many people do you know, or know of, that uses or has one or more of these services? How would you feel if you could save people money on services that they’re most likely already using, if not you can offer them the service, and everytime they pay their bills each month, you make a percentage off these bills every single month. Huge income opportunity. It’s incredible how much money is involved in this industry.
If you’d like more information feel free to email me and I’ll be happy to pass it along to you.
I also created a blog on my 360 page on home based business’s. There’s over half a dozen different ones to take a look at. Your more then welcome to browse through them. If you find one that’s interesting, contact the person who wrote it and they can point you out in the right direction.

I am tired of working for other individuals and i want something i can do from home while i take care of my daughter, but i don’t want to get taken either. Is there any advice from someone who has actually used one of these work from home businesses and made a profit from it?
maybe start a home ebay business. If you live in a big house, you can buy stock and sell them or dropship which is you sell the item at a high price and then order the item for the buyer from the source for them, that way you do not need to buy stock!

i’m tired of thees Online Home Business that too complicated to do and charge you money you cannot afford to spend. got any ideal?
Does it have to be online? If you are willing to get your hands a little dirty, the absolute best way to raise money with little money is to wash windows. No one wants to do this, but you can do very well with some old rags, a bucket, long handled brush, some ammonia and water, and a smile. Head into a business district close to home, and offer to wash their windows for a fee. You might even offer the first side or first wash for free, give them a card, and then make a bi-weekly or monthly visit to the area. No matter what the economy, this always works. Do not take credit, just cash or checks, and give a reciept, so they can deduct it off their taxes.
You can start a small business like this very easily. Go to www.sba.gov and it will tell you what you need to do to get legal. You can even download a free version of Quickbooks Simple Start accounting software, and track everything that way. Establish a route, and then go to the next business. Offer referral bonuses (like a free wash) for referrals that turn out to be paying clients.
This sounds incredibly simple, and it is. I know of several people who make more money doing this, or office cleaning, for a good living.

Hi,
I’m working on my business plan to launch a small online business (baby related special occassions/event planning). I’m a stay at home mom. I’m torn between the legal structure I would need to form. At what point do I really consider a Limited Liability vs. a Sole Proprietorship?
That it is really tough question to answer… As has been mentioned, there are a lot of issues that need to be carefully considered based on the state where you live, and the state where you intend to do business in. If you are in NJ, for example, the minimum corporate tax is $500/year. NY is only $100… That would make a huge difference to a small at home business, if your profits were say only $10,000 – look at the difference in tax coming out!
Your accountant would be the best person to discuss your legal organization with – whether you want to incorporate (be it a Corp or an LLC) or if you should remain as a sole proprietor.
For the remainder of this year though, you may consider just operating as a sole proprietor – there is only one more quarter of the year, and if you want to keep your books as simple as possible, keep your business and personal "tax years" on a Jan – Dec year.
Just my 2 cents!
